Jordan Transformer LLC is looking for an experienced Field Service Testing Technician for high voltage power transformers (>10MVA). The qualified candidate must be able to operate, and understand the results from, Doble and Megger test equipment. A competency test may be required.
Jordan Transformer Field Service crews perform repair, dis-assembly, assembly, vacuum filling, processing, and testing of high voltage power transformers at customer sites. Candidates should be aware that the travel requirement is averaging over 60% field time for the last couple of years.
JT offers guaranteed 40 hours per week, overtime pay, 401K, paid vacation, health, dental, vison, and life insurance. Compensation dependent upon qualifications and experience. OSHA 30, MSHA, PPE, First Aid, rigging, and other required certification training will be provided. Must have mechanical aptitude, class A CDL with DOT health card, and willing to travel for extended periods (one week to one month) per trip. This position requires the technician to be stationed in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, metropolitan area.
