Jordan Transformer draws knowledge from a pool of over a half century of engineering experience. The following dialogue represents questions we have heard many times over.


Q. What types of transformers does Jordan Transformer repair in the field?

A. With over 39 years of experience to utilities and industrial customers, our engineering and field service technicians are experienced with power transformers from virtually all original manufacturers.
We primarily repair substation power transformers as well as mobile transformers, furnace transformers, and voltage regulators in the field on varying workscopes we have worked on transformers up to 1200MVA and 500KV.

Q. What are the advantages of repairing in the field?

A. Minimizing downtime of transformers in certain applications IE. GSU transformers, and arc furnace transformers is imperative to your organization. Jordan Transformer is one of the few factory backed field service companies. We maintain a vast parts inventory as well as relationships with the best parts manufacturers in the country to get your transformer back into service as efficiently and safely as possible.

Q. What training do your field technicians have?

A. All of Jordan Transformer field technicians have OSHA 30 cards, crane and rigging certifications, commercial drivers licenses, arc flash hazard training, and various other equipment safety certifications. We also have specialty and test technicians that have been factory trained on virtually every make and model of load tap changer. Our field personnel are dedicated to field service operations, after factory evaluation periods. Jordan Transformer is in EEO and is a drug free workplace.
